Pro-active is the idea of always being in control, of one’s actions when one is not overwhelmed by it all. In life it is incumbent on the self to be mindful of those actions when later one may not seek to blame others. The way of proactivity is clear at the outset. All a question of being there.
One takes full responsibility over the choice the subject makes. There may not be an error as everything has been worked out prudently with a plan echoing the view that the reactionary approach which characterises so much of what goes on but based on the modes as it reveals in life making one takes action not necessarily of the non-reactive types.
It is an existential prudence to be able to choose. Even not choosing albeit strictly speaking also becomes choice, a choice that one may not run away from: indeed, almost a responsibility to do so unless of course one wishes to be entangled in that realm of the reactionary ways along with its modes whilst keeping the subject at the base of entanglement where one is muddled.
Choices are in abundance: If one is misled or somehow one is made to adopt a certain way of life based on mundane modes; it may be possible to see one’s actions as being a result of the latter whilst using these as a wake-up call from the malady of the reactivity.
To be able to see that one is in danger of moving away from the norm of proactivity means that one is alert at all times. Or that one is not governed via the mercy of others; where inevitably others takes over one’s way of being.
It is of course as important to be able to stand up for oneself and explicitly look at the pros and cons of what is at stake before engaging through those choices which may be diametrically opposed to one another. The prudent definitely reflect on the question of which way to go rather than moving about hither and tither as a matter of trying one path or mode as opposed to the other. One may go forward, backwards or sideways to the left or right but whichever mode the subject adopts, all needs to be a clear and distinct approach based on comprehension rather than being carried over. Without such a reflective choice, one may easily end up in the dungeon or at least derailed as nothing may be taken perchance.
The world verily is an arena of choices. To be sure, one is called often to make those vibrant choice among the multitudes available and pondered over whilst in some instances, the subject some may be forbidden, others non legal and some will cause distress. One may simply remark that proactivity merely puts one in the grips of those authentic ones which keeps us on tract without causing frictions and distress to any other.
Choices are illimited in that one may consume some of these without quite subscribing to its ways in that one is carried over with the clear ‘danger’ being that one moves away from one’s compass or chosen path: That choice par excellence is that which takes us on to that promised land or the goal as set in our wisdom. To be led astray is the easiest thing that one may do as it may be possible to move away from one’s position as one immersed in the world of conditionings with its challenges and dare I add with its desires is sufficient to puts one off tract. It also underestimate the forces of nature…..those modes whether goodness, passion and ignorance as per the web of material life from which there is little respite. Or its ways are so appealing that may easily gives in and crumble.
From a proactive perspective it is verily up to the self to ensure that that one does not make that single error which may be far too costly as the trend usually in material life not to forgive easily whilst to remember those grudges one has been a victim of. That is why in proactive mode there may not be excuses of weakness of the heart 0or being susceptible to the whims of the senses. The point is to maintain that clear balance and of being mindful.
It is verily not a question of conforming to some ways and or follow and be whimsical as one with a mind on the loose non controllable and where one easily is taken for rides and never see consequences ahead. All are given via a ‘preya’ to borrow a Sanskrit term where one easily gives in to the pleasant which is the foundation of misfortune as there is simply no concern for its opposite or ‘sreya’ which albeit being not that pleasant is actually of greater use for the subject.
In pursuit of the obvious or the superficial bodily pleasure the otherwise reflective self becomes a victim of the modes and so missed our on the way ahead and verily the goal of life where a plan is put into motion for moving ahead not based on reactionary way of doing things as per the whims of one’s minds based on other superficial and or bodily influences.
To be sure there is a lack. There will always be something missing or not quite correct since one has espoused a form which has neglected the way of that compass which may perhaps keep one on tract onto that goal which in turns ensures that one is always in tune with the aspects of proactivity where the goal is always kept in sight regardless. By doing so, one does not falls prey to the mundane forms which seeks to rips up apart under the guise of throwing about the pleasant. Choose this path and one is doomed but keep more to the ‘Sreyic’ way and the good will eventually surfaces.
The point is to be always firm and not be led or precisely misled by the norms of the mundane and its ways which although appears far too ‘preyic’ that is pleasant is like or as Albus Dumbledore has put it ‘ we must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy’ and needless to say the appealing one has always been the short cut and easier one: And so beware!
