Brutality unlimited………..

No one may justify violence of any form: One always have a choice how to live as from the moment of awareness as far as one may remember, there is nothing positive about negativism or anger, hatred and or the topic as hinted above. Or is there?

There is subtle form of violence that society has almost accepted with the emerging slaughter houses in almost all part of the world where it is case, says modern civilisation that one needs to institutionalise to kill others or animals for the sake of the population. This trend is being questioned in a world where one may rely on other form of food intake, not necessarily through so called legal ways at condoning killing. Humans have granted themselves a licence to do as they please as regards torturing and or taking lives as if as leaders among living entities are duty bound to do as they feel fit. Or it is a way of life, a tradition to thrive on the flesh of others and these things are taken for granted.

The unwritten law of humanity however proclaims that whatever one does will have a consequence at some point in one’s lives whether it is through abating of or being accomplices towards causing and leading a violent life. The short answer is what goes around comes around whether not necessarily immediately but in due course. Unless one is of a hardened type, any act of killing means to take life, a life which otherwise would have lived a little longer. There is no logic at trying to kill some entities for the sake of the other except that one is violent. The irony is that there is a claim that one cares for animals. Rather, this should be lover of some animals or more precisely ‘my’ animals for essentially it is all about me and me and nothing matters as long as I am alright; a kind of a me-ism in play where what matters is simply the ego self. As long as one may justify an action, it matters little what one does whether it is of help or not as long as the petty ego gets its way in this vast arena or the world about us.

The point though is that one always has choices in the midst of it as to how one wants to be or there are no excuses to be non authentic. The non authentic path is a cop out of those in bad faith seeking to justify those actions which knowingly one may feel is wrong but still partake in these as a matter of weakness of the heart or letting one’s mind going hay wild where it become a victim of the senses and so get dictated by it at all times. Such a mind of course is all over the place and therefore never a friend of the self as it leads or rather misleads one.

There is a lack in turning towards the self that one is. There is almost a fear to bring it under control and listen to one’s inner voice which always questions those acts of error, putting down, anger, eventually violence and sometimes  terrorising the other as being a norm which somehow may be the way forward for which one may choose a certain path. It is sure not ahimsa to a destroy, mutilate, hate and kill others for oneself which happens all the time in our society. It is relentless hatred as to be sure there may never be such things as humane taking of lives. To kill is to destroy and not to create, it is an act which fails to bring harmony.

To thrive on the blood of others is never an act of mercy. It is pure arrogance and ignorance in that we think that we know what is best for every being whilst seeking to control lower species where barbarism enters in the equation as one exploits lesser others as the remark of Mahatma Gandhi puts it ” A civilisation is measured by how it treats its weakest members.” There is always a case to stop, pause and reflect rather than engage and participate in senseless actions which creates divisions and nurture atrocities. Certainly, some say that it is almost a crime against the nature and its inhabitants. What one is not allowed to do to discriminate as per one’s dogma.

It seems as a person one needs to ask the self about what one really wants: whether to sit on a bedrock which has tainted injustices or should one aim to see an alternative way of being where there  is trust, hope and comprehension which transmit respect not only to a few, but to one and all regardless of being or specie. Sure, it is a transcendental way of being rather than a mundane, material way of looking at life where the other emerges truly as a comrade but not as one to exploited. It is a movement away from senseless acts of gratification of the senses for the needs of the tongues which has been widely exploited and have become the norm.

It is refreshing to note as a challenge that there is an awareness towards alternative ways of being which seeks to put things in perspective to bring about sense in a senseless world and to bring creativity where there is destruction and to bring peace where there is disharmony. To be is to be there. A question of appreciating and witnessing that grandeur of life as it unfolds but the civilised programme which accommodates the laws of the jungle fails to apprehend what is for the sake of looking down on some others belonging to other species if not how may one explain that there are “ slaughter houses “ as well as well as RSPCA.

All is based on choices: how to be! On the one hand, there is reaching out yet on the other there is hatred. One may love cats, dogs and chicken but all ambiguous. In one case it is about caring for the for the former whilst in the latter it is about act of feeding on the flesh of others: Sure, no love is shown in the latter case. Or Is it because it has become an acceptable norm?
