One of the most difficult thing to work is in cooperation. Externally, in spite of being in a relationship with another there is still a lack, everywhere regardless of the façade that may or may not be put upfront. Whenever we have more than than the self that we are, always some non agreement emerges in that cooperation or the idea of working together may not quite be there. It is verily a rare thing to develop a sense of togetherness where one naturally emerges as a synergy. There is always a self or ego withdrawal and so one remains ensnared in a pool of confusions and with this being there is never an spontaneous way to be. It is all about a me-ism, a sense of trying to remain in a fragmented way where one does not see any sense of being together and or working with others. At best all is about working alongside the other in a fixed cause and where this is so, it is possible to wretch away and see the logistics of being there, and with one another which may not be possible otherwise. The lack of a common goal where tries to get others involved are by far a distant cry as that spirit or link binding one to others may not be. To be sure, one has to espouse a certain way of being or else the whole exercise is frivolous or lacks that essence which may keep one together. The defining gap always are there but it is onwards to that motto which one is searching for that moment which verily is in a non temporal unison.
It is a search for a common element, ground to try making sense of the horrors in which we are caught up with…the latter by virtue of divisions always expose a lack of being. The latter emerges where and when one is free from hatred and is apt towards a freedom from anger, tranquility , compassion to one and all not only those to which we have an affinity, gentleness and in spirit of forgiveness where one moves onwards and forwards away from the kind of traumatic existence we are exposed to at least pre lockdown days with non personalism and rudeness being the measure of being where all was/ is aspect of divisions par excellence, a way of life where one is always at the mercy of the modes of the superficial even if it be goodness let alone the other ways of ignorance and passionate forms. To be sure, we are always on doing this, that and the other, leaving crumbles to face up to the self that one is. There is almost an obsession to be on or that we may never be, and aspects of for ever playing a role as is expected rather than being who one is. To be sure, authentic-ness is loss in the process which takes the ego self on trip…. From which one never recovers from. Acceptance of the norm, and a relentless call to avoid and or try and lives in a world of automaton where there is hardly time to face up to reality.
A call towards simplicity at the interpersonal and impersonal level is called for where one attempts to break through from the limbo of being…where life is perhaps seen in its appropriate mode of togetherness. Verily, one is never that disconnected even in so-called norma times and yet when the chips are down as per the global confinement, it dawns on us in some ways that one is never that fragmented albeit in its negative mode. The lesson from Wuhan is that is there is no hiding place from any single action. The latter even at the remotest part of the world suddenly will catch up with us somehow, sooner or later and one ignores at one risk. Interesting that in spite of this the arrogant and the vulgar still cherish ideas of separatism and or trying to seek a patch up solution via a reactionary approach whilst putting a front of expertise that things may be resolved piecemeal without a concerted and globally united effort. Or let’s say there is a running away from perceiving the problem as it is in manners that one fails to see logistics of life as revealed and about us.
At the personal level, two parties within a relationship always have their own agenda plus aspirations where there is a lack, where there is a pull away factor meeting rarely in a synergy of being but always at placing the bigoted self at the fore. As one moves on from the partnership of being on to the local community and nation, again that fierce divisions come to the fore with each pulling way in different direction. There seems to be little agreement unto how to be and where one looses all sense of being where what one sees are frictions on a grand scale.
Look at the way society is organised and swiftly one may see that there is a problem at the base of being. It is a forever running away. How does one emerge from a catastrophe of ailing way to be? How does one moves away from factions, fractions and frictions? Or are we just doomed towards an uncertainty in that the only thing one may observe as being certain is that nothing will be certain even at that level of running away in madness and not facing up to that reality.
Sure, even at the non material level, there is are divisions abound. Do it this away. Follow this , that and the other and by doing so, again that same notorious fragment emerges where one by virtue of trying to move away create another form which still sow seeds of hatred. The problems facing life is one of appreciating one’s in situation and perhaps working from there onwards….with perhaps that one needs placing at the core a way of being which is fragment-free and away from aspects sees one as a threat or create divisions for one to thrive on.
Verily a question of checking the base of the self and work onwards and forwards. May one develop such a non fragmented consciousness of being which sees no separation or is one simply contaminated to be in a mode of perpetual despair, anger, frictions along with its hatred and violence. How does one rise from that arrogant self? A question of taming one’s being! Take heed and there may yet be hope. Ignore and disaster is always awaiting to happen…..unless one bewares!

For its own sake!
Doing things for its sake was a Socratic dictum which is rarely taken heed of in modern society with its fierce completion, and trying to do things to beget something else in return. The idea that one may not be governed by a blatant calculation of seeking something is verily a far cry. It has always been running around to get rewards. Where one differs from this, the subject is often deemed to be mad, or at least not with the ways of the world with its competitions and its ideas of enhancing adding value to one’s asset from a blatant materialistic perspective. Or, one is viewed as a weirdo amidst the so called normal at maintaining oneself within a fiercely competitive world. They say that everything needs to be so directed. Try and make use or adopt that Socratic norm and you are seen as a bizarre if not abnormal as if trying to follow the pattern of the set norm is what life is all about. For, however, it is a mystery to just be different and not be with the ways of a world which tries to stifle our being. Let’s simply observe that there are little in that ferocious obnoxious ways of a frantic lifestyles from which one is no more at peace but always running from.
Or without the fruits to be gained the motivation may simply not be. At the same time there is almost no event towards not recognising others efforts at trying to make sense of the worldly way with its pettiness and embedded materialism which forces one into subjugation. Or it is a case of always seeking something as not to do so would be considered being out of one’s mind. Try doing something voluntarily and one is labelled as crazy for all life is centred towards towards reaping of rewards in one form or the other. Not to do so is not considered to be of the ways of the world.
Either one joins the party of being arrogant, envious and full of hatred or you are not in the team. The team is considered to be those involved in a certain way, abide by some principles which may not be quite authentic but all the same a way to accept and abide by a certain norm and that usually is about seeing life as that which always gives to oneself where one naturally becomes a searcher to keep collecting dues to add on to one self. Those who tries giving freely are viewed not that politely as they are against the spirit of each one for oneself. It is a form of bourgeois culture which simply revel at the few against the many. Or a division in place and from which one thrives, where there is no real understanding bar at trying to work on the basis there is a me, an all important being and the other, a threat or at least a competitor. Yet there is a certain happiness at trying to maintain such a status quo, since it is believe that as each seeks more and more, this creates in itself a way to be or the way to be, where what matters is life on the superficial level, a platform which merely denigrates any other who dare call for an alternative way to be. One is deemed either to be within such a worldly way even if it be at a crudest level rather than extending an arm in cooperation. Or the latter aspect is not seen as being in any way important.
Giving or reaching out to others to others may not be quite in their vocabulary which are dominated by the ways which seeks to do everything but for their ego self and in the process ignoring others about them to be polite. Often other inbuilt negativism emerges where the crude feels there way even if it damaging and create divisions is the way to be.
Proponents of the mainstream views are also always there to seek and keep adding on by whatever means necessary to their being in total disregard to others , and in a kind of a monologue believes that theirs are what defines life whereas of those which we are trying to expose herewith in the mode of doing things for its own sake has virtues of being-ness embedded in them or the latter is sure another way , a non ruffian way at being with others about us in a camaraderie where it is not about fierce competition or a simpleton of imposing of hatred, arrogance or using envy as as a base for moving along. The strategy of doing things for the sake of it is to keep reaching out to every other where the latter is verily not someone to be outdone but one to be hailed as simply being another.
The problem with the seeker of the crude approach that is of denigrating the other whether in a sophisticated or blatant one is that one is seen as the measure of all things about and us where one resides in a fragmented way which sees one as being the most important or a rampant me-ism. This approach denies the facet of challenging norms of society and oozing at a model where it is never a question of trampling on others for one’s being.
They are content that their way is the vision of what the worldly should be like, totally disregarding-the cry of the few as they feel they have knowledge to lead albeit in their outdated vision of seemingly nourishing hatred and anger as its base to be on which they thrive as they sows other deeds of envy and divisions
There is a unity of approach where it is an us-ness that merges in that dense forest of apprehension where one sees a unity of purpose, away from that wretched form which denies the other, a way to be, an alternative to the norm where things are built on frictions. The point about doing something for the sake of it is almost a dreamlike way to be and yet it seems that this is an alternative which to be sure questions the traditional way of being on the platform of the mundane as here it is very much about seeing sense in a lifestyles which calls out for reflection……
The way of the superficial…….
To live at the superficial or mundane level means that one is for ever in the realm of the material where life is measured in terms of the strictly temporal, where one contents oneself with mostly the idea of eat, drink and be merry and seek pleasures and nothing else. It is all about fun, fun in this, that and the other. Add fun to something and one is awake. Play, play and play and keep within this realm of amusements and or let’s have enjoyment unlimited will be the cry. There is not even a halt to consider what is fun, so long as the word is used it suffices but in truth one’s person fun may be verily a bore to the other. But then at least there are thousands if not more of these attempting to cater for the fun aspect of being.
Where this is not so, life takes another turn with desperate attempts at trying to get back to those ways of seeking pleasures for its own sake where there is a tendency to adopt that happiness may be or should be the motto that each and everyone readily intention themselves towards. Or it is no more but based on frivolous way of being…where gratification of other senses takes the limelight if only one witnesses how it is so fashioned. In a way, happiness becomes the measure of being, where life is measured at plain gratification of senses nonstop and in many ways which leads the vulgar to seek doing achieving this aspect by whatever means necessary, whilst the bourgeois and other sophisticated others seek these modes of enjoying through a more accepted norm but all the same no more than mere seeking after pleasures whether done so-called sensibly or otherwise.
Or it is very much about a me-ism..Any deviation from that norm and suffering emerges, with people unsure what to do. Not that we were ever sure of what to do as one lives as per the reactionary mode of being where what matters is aspects of a way based on routine on pleasures or fun.
Everything needs to be related to fun. Take this away and soon moroseness creeps in, with desperation to seek and or demand to get to the point where that blunt superficiality reigns where to be sure, all is about a way which seeks to engage at that platform best noted for its hatred of facticity but a love for that which is transient. … as long as benefits aren’t added on to oneself and who cares. All a question of simply survival to achieve and modern societies has created lots of legalised massacres outlets to help the individual seeks to keep in line with a style aim at prodding amusements, pleasures and fun based on that superficial way of being.
The way of the non reflective paves the way of creating an aura about leading an under par existence. Their being moving about and or concentrating on fun is that all important element in any relationships or similar endeavour, educational, social or otherwise. …with the only time where that may not be the case is when is on. To be on, means that one is not quite oneself but somehow the individual ‘knows what is wanted on towards a futuristic mode of making it all non real. That the non genuine takes precedence is clear with the idea of make believe at the core as if life is so dominated by these facets which takes one away from reality. It is a deliberate moving or running away rather than facing facts. When all these are taken away as one is forced into submission through fear of being a victim and yet some societies cares little about its population and or they think that the way to be is to try and reinvent life as it was through forcing one’s way back which would simply not do as more and more victims will fall away. … becoming a prey to the blatant mundane aspects of being.
To be sure, as one continues to live within the perimeters of the universal lockdown, the world faces a dilemma at what to do or not do to be precise whilst it seeks to recover from the kind of unprecedented disaster the world has ever seen.One cries at how it all was and then had it all taken away albeit for a little while or at least two months so far. During this period, quite a lot has happened around and about almost everywhere in every corner of the earth so to speak.
There seems that we are heading towards a way of certain non certainty around, with confidence at its lowest ebb. Even if this be so, there is still a resounding call to seek and carry on being entangled in a form of life which revolves in and around superficiality. Or it is that search for a way which keeps putting oneself above and beyond every other as is the norm in spite of the call to go move beyond halt. Material life creates a way of being which characterise its fluidity of being in that all is at turned upside down in a realm which is for ever in transient mode. Even so, the mundane twist to find a way to search for amusement and enjoyment as holding on u the norm to keep forging ahead with the fun based on eating, drinking and merry…ing about unlimited Where one takes this approach of the superficial way, all one sees are those salience merging. If one uses this as a plan, happiness is only around the corner. It goes in the form of desiring something and it often turns out to be the case than not as there is clear onwards movement about actualising that through one’s desire, a desire to be that which one wants. There are diverse strategies which verges on the temporal and or trying to make the trap of the temporal a viable way of being. From adopting a certain way based on a choice which one faces to thinking that ‘my’ way is better when pitted against the other is all too obvious. This is where conceit and arrogance takes over with little cooperation about. There is a lack of trying to perceive that one is also part of that big mess about or that one knows. The process is simply try to make mends reactively, frivolously rather than proactively. The reader may well ask ………..how does one get out of this entanglement?
A new world order looming!
One never faces the self, always running around and about almost everywhere and saying there is hardly time enough for what one wishes to do as the subject is seen to be always on and never quite in a mode of being here. The idea of being here is revelled in meditative and similar quarters or the cry has always been to request a pause mode. The world suddenly has been put a halt since at least recently as it is trying to come to terms with a new enforced lifestyle through something it never expected where each an everyone is seen as a suspect or threat to one’s being. It has suddenly daunted on each and everyone that a hectic and passionate lifestyle may not do. The bourgeois type of being may have gone for ever as a new call is sounded to awake and reside in a new mode that of facing up to the facticity of being where one no longer may be in an erratic mode. The hectic lifestyle….running bout here and everywhere with never being in one place albeit bodily with the mind always being elsewhere and never quite facing to the here and now. Suddenly, all is changing…
The call is to come face to face with reality and acknowledge that a lifestyle of the mundane of the materialism may have been brushed aside on towards a new form calling one to pause and take a deep breath before moving along. To do so may no longer require that one keeps postponing what is most important for oneself or a way to be where previously style of division and hatred had taken over. In some ways, one may never assume that suddenly all will be well as the mind carry on bearing grudges against the other and with it emerges frictions giving rise to undue misunderstandings and where this is so, almost any aspect of negativism may appear on the arena.
Pettiness or hatred coupled with conceit never quite disappear as will arrogance of the few towards the many where divisions are hailed around rather than a unity of being which may help resolve living in a transient world now in paused mode.
The choice to be may never be as clear and yet the naïve still nourishes the view that there may be a return to the ways of deeply rooted fragmentation where they prosper or simply seeks contentment unlimited which is never an alternative now as people everywhere start wising up and question the way to be, not via a mode of trying in outdoing of the other which is not the way to be.
A new world order awaits where the fanatics of division or hatred may no longer find that their ways any longer bear fruits. The proletariat wising up may also mean that a question mark is placed on lifestyle on what is to be done and not to be done but importantly on how to be done. A point blank movement away from that form of belittling of others where the few think it has the monopoly on the many. Life is about going onwards towards a new horizon not dominated by those who feels that life was fashioned just for them and every other needs be in subjugation to their needs and desires.
Anything and everything will be questioned or should be if one is to awake to that world order where there will be a synergy of being, where one reaches to the other, where one is not in non authentic mode, where there is a sense of purpose no longer govern by make believe where there is a call back to the beginning, a simplicity which makes one be.
Still others are sucked into a form where they wish to carry on imposing a lifestyle based on the mundane….which keeps subjugating others into submission.
An enforced change where it is discovered that new heroes are not those entangled in make belief vi a leading a non authentic lives based on games but a real one where there is a forward call and see how it may all fashioned. To be sure, the quintessence is not about the fact that one is now doomed. We were doomed anyway except we never realised we were so. Now, it is all clear as we pay a little more attention to the real question of being rather than loosing out or trying to do so through projects, work, or through arts and sports or whatever except facing to who one is or what is one’s purpose not from a particular viewpoint but as an individual questioning how to be based not on a preempted moe of life but actually as to how one may make sense of our current situation.
That the virus had made each one us consider is all too obvious but still too many merely sees the universal lockdown as a blip and that a return back to pre-Wuhan is still on. There has been substantial damage around everywhere. The way we lived has been questioned in an actual, real way. We may no longer hide behind projects or adopt a pretence strategy. It is more of a question of trying to awake and realise one’s purpose even it be within the material way of being let alone try and make sense from the transcendental perspective. Even within the latter forms are so many variations that humanoids readily feels they are still at the helm of any and everything such that plundering and massacres of others are simply an ordained acts as revealed they might say in the instructions coming down from a higher authority and so kind of justify their a noxious ways at the expense of others.
Yet the area to consider is precisely may we be allowed to go unchecked and so perpetuate injustices about and around. The talking point needs to reflect what has happened in and about and around the world. It is a question of being in the mode of authenticity, a cry from existentialists of the sixties or the ecologists which keep saying that there is something still fundamentally wrong with society and the world which is of serious concern. Sooner one sees the inherent problem, sooner one may come to terms with life as it is. And importantly realise what needs not doing or what should be done. A question of rising above and beyond one’s pettiness and most of all appreciating each and every other.
The reactive other……..
There is no lack of controllers as one looks around and about. Each and everyone rarely looks at the conceit within oneself but always at the exterior where the subject feels that a contribution is being made in spite of the fact that all it does but creates other undue negative about….. where others becomes the objects of despise and or other harassment emerges. They are of the views that the world was made for them and in a way feels whatever they decide must or should become the norm and so they live firmly convinced that they know and others somehow lack their crudeness which make those with a mundane outlook the standard bearers within a materialistic society where clearly the way of divisions is on the agenda at all times where fabric of society has no cohesion but based on a frailty way of being where living is all about maintaining and creating mistrusts , anger and hatred causing lots of grievances around and about which the practitioners feels are all part of a life to which they and no one else is entitled to. In their conceitedness, they never may see beyond their veil as for them all is set, firm and within a defined boundary which any other need to abide by.
Controllers start from those who feels they may subdue others, verily all others and mould them as they would like in a way where the subject carry on feeling of being of some use.. The irony of this is that is all based on a perspective, a way of seeing things which may never be ‘the way’ The sooner our comrades realise that there is no such thing as a way to be based on their frivolity the sooner that the world may awake to that state of being free of subjugation. That they do so with some entities is all too obvious where there are sophisticated ways of creating massacres about and almost accepted by every other may be at the root of the problem. One who creates hatred about and have those seeds of anger, violence and envy may not quite be in a way fit to pronounce on the way to be. It may well be on a way to be based on fragmentations which never helps none but their adept veil which they closely abide by …..source of all distrust. The question of being in a pause mode may never occur as the subject feels very much as one decides becomes the norm of being whether all haphazard reactive aspects is attempted to be rolled over on to others.
This is done usually as one thinks that every other needs be subservient to the self that one is and by implication that one is always correct in one’s decision where there is no need for consultations as all else that matters is our own diktats, which are usually taken as being the measure of the way forward until one is challenged. For every decision in life that there is one has taken in a non pro-active way there are alternatives which may not quite be welcomed and indeed verily resisted at the outset as it is in the nature to vehemently believes that one is always right. That such a way of being is put above and beyond any other’s is rampant everywhere from the one who has a mandate to govern to the led who also adheres to a superficial mode of being or is web of contradictions where the subjects or world citizens are only involved really in chewing the chewed as dominance is about propaganda and these starts where one feels that they have the authority to govern and place others in subjugation.
The fabric of society may never quite be same as others who have mandates either politically, socially, institutionally or emotionally are all in a web of lack where separatism has taken over which indeed led Socrates to pronounce on the idea of philosopher kings. A form of the latter prevailed in Vaishnava culture where kings such as Yudhisthira and Pariksit used to be at the helm where what mattered was via non- materialistic guidelines.
What one notices is blatant divisions at the core of being where the other is viewed as an enemy emerging at the fore where selfishness operates where the crude aspects of the materialistic and mundane tendencies from petty violence to disrespect for any other is at the base. With divisions being the norm, the modern heroes seek to lead a life of exclusion meaning that they may not perceive beyond their veil or set pattern. Everything is predestined in their scheme and it is a way which is the opposite of reaching out but more of a way to protect and guard the interests of a few, some or many as against others and so the other or others are seen as an enemy and their nuances of being verily emerges from this.
Transcendence is meaningless as is seeking to see every other as a living warmth. There are set preconditions as who may be part of their exclusive club, a club governed not by openness by a tendency that one may have to fit a pattern as predicted, usually as views from the physical perspective. Reactive others see lots of mileage in adopting such a tendency to be ruler and this is what has characterised mundane relationships where any other then choose this way to be, a way where some others are simply put down as there is feeling that one may decide for others and in their arrogance simply try to dictate others’ way of life.
To be sure, not contented with merely being, part of accomplices in killing lesser beings, they move onwards towards others whom they feel needs subjugating because they want to be seen to be in charge or that life needs to revolve around them which is not clearly a fact as life and the world may carry on without any other; yet our comrades who continue to throw seeds of hatred about does not see it this way. Or life is about fragmentations and being seen as a chef to borrow an existentialist term, with this very much meaning that the latter feels that he is always the boss and is a great being in spite of being no more than just any other. In brief, it is verily the story of the reactive other!
Mundaneness…….
Moving towards simplicity is an act of going above and beyond the sophistication and of the mundane where everything becomes a show: A living show where life is fashioned to be in a certain way of make believe. It became so polluted that every aspect of the so-called modern life dominated by that superficial form to such an extent that creativity is no longer the base of being but a question the more one is better at mastering techniques of non authenticity, the more one is acknowledged.
Every aspect of life is so organised that it is no longer about being but more about playing a role. No need to be oneself but more of being that one is not, a case of a superficiality unlimited where it is also an apparent struggle where the individual always seek to not only lived in such a mode of being but verily seek to mesmerise others about. Plaudits and acknowledgement are granted to those who are in many ways exponents of an artistry of both subjugating others whilst keeping on airing those non authentic ways. Modern life thrives on that way of being where one who plays that role of being what one is one to a sophistry beyond belief. And yet this is precisely what is acknowledged as being the norm or the way forward in this crude world where success is no longer pro activity but a plain reactive form. The one who shouts more, or who is more violent and or better at conning others becomes the achiever. The idea of being involved for its own sake no longer is there. It is about winners and losers. Or to play a role most effectively is what the game is all about. The centre stage is sadly dominated those who promote such a culture of divisions or separatism.
Applauded as skill, the few prospered whilst the many also seeks to emulate the former in also aiming to be that which one is not or it is all a movement towards a constant moving away from that base of being who….what one is. The life arena was so polluted in that even at the core of relationship that mode of falsity is about, or a way which simply perpetuate the same system all over again and again.As every other keeps on moving on towards such a mode which in a way has become a paradigm for others to follow.
The lack is simply that one has become far too much an expert in a way of life which neglects the basics. Or the base of relationship which suffers as one aims to develop and or be a bit more of what one may be to a perfection. In that climax of being sacrifices are made whilst the subject remains a zero at the core of being. To be that which is not has taken over from that which one is as one keeps on going searching for that which may never be. Non authenticity in action where all is measured through a make believe.
People all over the world has taken such masteries at heart that there is a feeling that it had taken over at the core life where one not merely keeps running onwards towards that which ensures one but further away from authenticity; or the latter is lost in the form of that keeps one entangled in that superficial mode. In the process, what is nor perceived is precisely that way of being which calls on one to be prudent and alert towards a way of being which to be sure questions frantic and frenzy life where one always plays a role rather than being oneself.
With a call to stop and reconsider makes one a kind of almost a villain in a world which prefers its own kind.A kind of an hatred taking over where one readily is there to be engaged in one’s projects rather than seeking to work in a unison free of that mode of non authenticity. After all one operates in the realm of the material where all things relates to and are of the mundane. That simplicity is gone and instead emerges a way of being which is simply about an onslaught on one self which the subject may not even realise. The world of leaders/ led and or so-called democracy ensures that there is a trap at the core of existence where conceit, vileness, and arrogance operates along with its superficiality: A classic case of setting some against others with the proletariat acquiescing to such a modal existence.
The call to simplicity is precisely a questioning of the way of the temporal….that mundane form which keeps one subjugated and or being a truncated being. May one move on from a fragment way towards a more accomplished being. Is there a such a chance still in a life so dominated thus far by technology and technicalities that even the core of existence is so fashioned ? Or are we doomed?
Yet opportunities is there as one is locked in a confinement where the call is to question, question and question everything about and around us. Are we ready for this or is this too much to see that lack which presents itself where one is but a victim of the prey of that aspect which perpetually offers no hope from due to its blatant espousal of the mundane? May one be able to break free in order to perceive the format into which we are now fully entangled or that vicious circle of a pretence mode for excellence. Is there a way out of this mode of being where one no longer has to play fiddle about and or keep engaging in that mode which is basically being what one is not but a mere automaton breathing, living , and existing in such a state just for the sake of it. There is no escape from that format which for ever takes one away from oneself on towards fun activities or a a way lived and abiding by the unreal where the real has been put away and or brushed side. It is a kind of a tipsy turvy way of being where the frenzy takes all and the rest simply just watch and applaud in awe to carry on or perpetuate again that same viral awkward and distressing mode which the subject is yet to come to come to grips with.
Or one may observe that life is perhaps a little more than just the mere form of make believe. One has to awake and take pride and engage in a proactive mode which may then perhaps just start to take matters a little further away from those form of delusions or make believe whether it is through those so-called pettiness fun and or those games or sports and similar madness way of being. Amidst such confusions, can one awake and be sensible?
A frailty of being…..
There is always a lack in the realm of the material. That one is here, immersed in a pool of subtle contradictions and surrounded by the whims of the latter is all obvious except by one who continues to seek transcendence through reflection. For all one’s thoughtfulness, a lack always emerges as one eventually crawls at aspects of that which lacks in being-ness. Or it may be observed that for all one’s scholarship and wisdom, there is a failure to apprehend and be there, here if you want as what emerges is a vision through that which is par excellence. The lack is apparent since one is immersed in that which changes. Or it is so easy to observe and perceive in the other yet that frailty is not seen within oneself.
The call is to look at the self that one is as it is always a question of the other who is seen and viewed as the problem and yet one may miss that finesse of being since it is far too difficult to perceive the lack within oneself as there is a tendency to think that the ‘me’ of oneself is the ever green hero/heroine and add to this a mistaken view that all one is no more than a substance bereft of any real comprehension of what really needs doing and or what again really needs not doing and perhaps as importantly how to get things moving in the arena of the temporal.
A walking kind of a contradiction where it is verily not easily noticeable within the self that one is but that is observable in the other.There is almost a feeling that the savant pretends to know and may never accepts his lack of being as after all the latter is the observer and always deciphers that veil. The subject fails to see that he too is part of that lack and indeed in that whirlpool of the mundane from which it is as almost impossible to shrug free of.The way of materialism verily poses a challenge to the subject who must take note of or else the latter too is no more or less than the other always being subjected to the ways of the mundane. In some ways it may not be others in spite of all one’s scholarship there is a tendency to be at that point of pride without quite understand how it surfaced as after all one tends to measure one’s actions diligently.
Just as much it is that easy to detect lagging behind in others, or equally easy to see it all within ,the exterior or outer. The problem emerges when the call is to put the self under scrutiny and or consider the innermost of one’s being where it is always possible to justify all sorts of confusions, lack, or aspects which one may so swiftly and aptly be placed under scrutiny. Or it seems that it is so easily to detect that lack in the other or in outside but try checking within the self or in the inner, there may be some questionable transparency since after all what may be put to question is verily that self that one is….something which may not or never be done.
To be sure, it is the other and always about the other. And about the exterior where one is on safe ground and not questioning that self which one is. What is being explored herewith is precisely the question of inwards looking and at the self that one is. It is not about reactive actions but verily proactive ones where one searches to merge out of that dense forest of delusion, where there is no need to run higher and tighter but faces the tune as is revealed. A kind of perceiving what one really is rather than what one is not. The exercises forces one to move away from that mode of pretence towards a reality as encountered without prejudice. In one’s bias mode, it is not that easy to look within whilst things appear so vivid in the not me, with an almost reluctance at one self where there is a impertinence as if oneself may be above and beyond that unto which one is revealed. The call is about probing into the self that one is and explore one’s own frailty and to be sure almost a very difficult exercise to be commenced given that one places there self above such modes and or it boils down to being unable to see that impotence lack, cause of misery to oneself and of being so arrogant that one does never see that aspects of mundaneness in the self, as if one is beyond any reproach.
Suddenly one notices there is a problem to be resolved not in the other but the self. What does one do? Can one just be without any lack? Or is lack part of the main problem in the world where one is coerced unto adopting a norm almost unknowingly and fall prey to the realm of the mundane and the material and its ways which the self may easily notices in the exterior but try doing the same thing in the inner within oneself and suddenly either one fails to apprehend it as if one knows but a knowledge bound up and which clearly operates within a set boundary where equally the subject is as much a victim of that in which one is bound up with. How does one go about shrugging free of that particular inherent problem of inner prejudice which causes suffering not willingly but non knowingly where opportunities may be denied to others. All a question of failure to adopt for instance both perhaps a tolerance and or believing that one already knows. Perhaps our comrade does not quite understand that any operation within the realm of the material comes with a warning at all times. Or it is as prudent to always take heed of the Socratic dictum ‘ I know not.’ actually or really rather than as an intellectual exercise; in which case the subject will never have a preconceived notion of anything about the realm in which we are entangled.Tolerance makes us take that attitude of being humble and always reaching out rather than posing as a this, that and the other where what then emerges is veil of conflicts and contradictions so easily noticeable in the other but quite in the self that one is.
The point herewith is may one really reflect and or clearly adopting a sensible approach at reaching out via a fusion of the exterior and the inner. May one really functions at the level of transcendence in a material world? If so, how to be. Who knows?
Onwards from the pause mode!
With life in a pause mode, there is no way one may safety predict that when the so called normality may return and to some it was precisely because of the that way of being that nature forced humanoids into reflection. The question is will one do so and try attempting to get back at simplicity and or keep doing the same things all over again as if what one is living through at this moment in time is but a mere hitch.
Harm has been central to the way of life of the modern life where there has been a ‘civilised’ way of non stop violence where heed was never taken of the fact that the greatness of a national by implication …..the world may be known by how it treats its animals as Gandhi remarked. The latter meant all animals and not a few chosen ones where millions are killed with slaughtering being given some respectability. Whereas for the crude, violence against some is a way of life , others justifies such acts by appealing to their religion as if by using this term they may be free of all responsibilities of creating havoc in a world. Some still adopt or try searching for a way whilst justifying organised cruelties and feels that they are allowed to carry on with their mean atrocities. It may never to the subject to consider that bringing hatred, envy, and violence of any form will takes its toll and that sooner rather than later there will be a price to pay…. verify putting in question one’s way of being.
That violence is at the core of life is not apprehended by the modern mind as it sees it fine to subjugate others for its wants, its mundane and materialistic desires, where simplicity was only a thing of the past where it keeps going on towards a way of living denying life and yet it wants life. To be sure, nature opted in and forces one into retreat. In retreating, the naïve may still be of the view that there will be a return in that mode of same style with arrogance, divisions and hatred at the core of being.Or perhaps attempting to control others, rather than allowing others to be. That one is lost may not be equally apprehended as one stares at confusions and hence one is perplexed as to what to do or not to do. The inherent theme at this time to be sure is one of non certainty as the world heads towards unprecedented times in the history of humanity.
Even then, there is still a running away and a desire that things will be as it was, with further divisions, and hatred about with violence at the core of the world order.That it was was a disgrace as many observers were warning us about needs be apprehended if only to bring about a sane way of being about.What needs be questioned is what one has done so far from a particular perspective, with its insanity at the core where anger, hatred and envy operates as a whim of being from which one is entangled. Or is this the way to be? From the sophisticated where one consumes dead bodies of lesser beings as food and authorised by world governments to chasing for one’s prey in the wild forests or other acceptance of eating all things that move taken literally, one may note that it is all about wants rather than needs. The cry from not necessarily other belief systems but of other non believers who on moral grounds are never taken as viable alternative against violence to lesser beings as the world continues on its plundering course; as if it is okay to to choose a course of distress whilst seeking peace and calm for oneself.
Apprehension is precisely that from that mundane cataclysm which is all over, a kind of a catastrophe that caused one to thread carefully and be aware and or conscious at every moment. A question about reflecting on the why of such a disaster which was always waiting to happen be it from a man made produced illness whether in a a market or in a laboratory but what we know for sure is that it is all about us and everywhere. Nature has a way of making others work and of healing itself regardless whether through itself or making use of living entities and in this sense it may well have been making provision to get the the originators into creating Coronavirus as a way to heal itself: Enough has been enough and with everywhere coming to a halt what was felt as impossible preWuhan suddenly the world wakes up and feels that there is still hope from an environmental perspective in that mankind everywhere is forced into retreat and in retreating through lockdown in almost nearly all of the 195 countries or so that there is no need to be burning so much fuel for the sake of continued happiness.
With things as it stands at this moment there would be a rare that might take the aerial route of travel which had become a norm. Or other form of travel where one may ask is it necessary but for the naïve all may be fine. A question of time as surely there will be a way out of this mess which has been made made, and yet there sees to be no solution. All there is about is a mistrust of any other. The repercussions will be worldwide as every other begins to bring in the pause mode whilst adding reflection to a normal agenda. What effect will Corona has on the world at large? Surely, not to go back and carry on how one was living. To be sure, the naïve may think this is a possibility. The truth is that the effect of what has hit the world is to make one reflect on the how to be, no longer just an exercise for thinkers or living philosophy but a case of awakening from a sombre mode of existence towards one where one may seriously take up the challenge of being and considering all others, regardless of specie, rather than pick and choose. Definitely, a massive challenge awaits humankind!
Time to be united !
We are surrounded by not-being in a big way in these unprecedented times that this may be so at any moment. It is not a isolated problem: For once, the world needs to comes to grips with a new way of life. All a question of apprehending the situation out there. A failure to do so means that one has not taken note of what is at at stake or the subject still nurturing the view it will all be fine, and that sooner all will be as what it was. That may be so, but to be sure, a new world order looms where running away is no longer a proposition or be lost in those activities away from a lifestyle of reflection where there have always been but facing life as it is. Verily non authentic living always promote inadvertently or deliberately to seek some imposition on the other.
Life may never be as one knows it.It is a called back to simplicity, or develop those mode of being where there is an appeal to nature that we may never be as a brute … this has been all over on a grand scale… everyone and everywhere. One should if not at least decide to call time on a futile mode of being where the other/ others may be trampled upon or the sake of some or a certain way of fragmented mode where the subject sees that separation is still the way forward, where crude arrogance continues to dominate where the protagonist feels all is about one in the mode of the false ego which is still very much in operation. On the inanimate aspect, there was a rape of nature, in a vulgar way where there have been cries from the younger generation in a sense to avail as the elders of society carried on saying that one may not stop the progress or the way we have lived.Then came along a kick in the face or a slap from nature in the form of that which continues to torment anyone or everyone about.The irony is that there is disunited front or a world so divided that one fails to see how it may tackle survival.
In some ways part of the problem is precisely that which is at stake, through a crude non necessary and a way which has trampled on both the inanimate and inanimate. Suddenly all is at par. There is no longer the sense one is better and or stronger than any other. Each and everyone is susceptible to be yet another victim where the call is made to fight against that malady which may attack at any moment. The physical defence as set may not be sufficient. The enemy may penetrate at any moment. Rich or poor, young, or old, fit or disabled or whatever status one has may all fall prey at front line. Some may return from the war, having been able to fend off or be taken a prisoner. Others may not be that lucky as there is still a lack of apprehending what this is all about.
Where there has been a failure to view that notorious enemy’s strengths and or seen how lethal it may be, more are falling prey to its potency. Others have made an assessment of the both strengths and weaknesses of that new form of terrorism without a face and in so doing, they are more protected and have seem to made some inroad and taking the fight as an organised and coordinated approach at repulsing the enemy that is forcing it to backtrack.
Where this is not so, where there there is disunity, where other considerations are still being prioritised over and above both the strengths and to be sure not taking the attack to the enemy by way of even considering its weaknesses and so one awaits as if for the enemy to arrive and by which time it may be too late. One may see that there is very little coordinated effort globally to tackle the issue as there is disunity where world leaders fail to agree due to their own petty desires at believing they are still better than the other at dealing with the issue at hand.
As one notices the same kind of disunity everywhere there is a failure to really perceive what is at stake. Sometimes, it is economic constraints, at other times, a mere lack of understanding at the problem facing oneself let alone society or the world. Even those who have diligently understood the problem may still fall a victim due to complacency. What is in front of us may not be quite appreciated hence the lack of cooperation as one goes about still in a divided way in spite of facing that which thrives on being in dissident mode.
It is clear that in societies where there is a lack of clear leadership of what is to be done and or what is not to be done, the enemy continues to have the upper hand as there is confusion in the ranks as how best to go to the roots. Apart from keep looking at the economics where the well being is not quite of prime importance as figures and other data seems to dominate, there is little willingness and or indeed a failure to have apprehended as we hinted on the strengths and weaknesses of the enemy. With this being so, there is no clear guidelines about filtering the fabrics of society. And no doubt all these playing in the hands of the enemy with the people being either confused and as naïve as ever. With this being so, no wonder more and more are falling prey and forced into the frontline where they may or may not return from a war which is clearly damaging survival chances.
One may still wonder as to why there is still a reluctance for a global effort at least where there may be a singular front at going all out against the enemy. Part of the problems that there is a false ego in operation where national leaders feels they know better than the other. Or at least there sees to be little emerging that shows that one is or has been ready to tackle this issue via an international cooperation given that all the 195 countries are affected. One may want to ask what else needs to happen before one gets together towards united front at seeking to analyse and come up with a united front rather than a piecemeal effort at tackling the same problem.
The mode of pretence……..
The seeds of grandeur, superiority and other negativism such as pride are ingrained with superficial living…. perpetuating a mode of being where what emerges about is that the subject airing or displaying a sense of being above and beyond; that somehow one is better than every other and above and that one knows whilst the rest needs be in subjugation. Others are dismissed per se and in doing so the bourgeois ideology thrives about.Interesting that the espousal of such a state of being means that that this air of delusion that one is way above any other is about and around as a means to get on top of the other who may have acquiesced via this fragmented mode is a recipe to have that state of affair continuing. It is kind of running at all times from the seeing who one is, and or being that which one is not to that aspect of the fact than one after all plays above the other. Or a kind of competition at outdoing the other….where success comes about at the belittling, denigration or simple ignoring of others! To be sure, a mindset of those who leads a life of superficiality and no more needs one observe.
Or that one have a licence to decide what those around and about us may do. That it is very much a question of adopting and taking some side and holding on to that way which trample upon others with the latter being no more meant to be subservient to oneself and our way of being. One wonders what else may need to happen or order for the naïve to come to one’s senses. What does it take for the other to see that one is after all twined,that is bounded in life where all one does is one’s duty of being… and whilst performing such a task is nothing more or else than one than any other. One is bound in a network of condemnation of being and in any attempt to make this unpalatable for any other will have its consequences in due course. In this way whether one is more abled or otherwise is not itself a licence to vent an air that one is above and beyond or adopt that delusion of grandeur attitude or being in bad faith as an existentialist may remark. For Sartre, the idea of being what one is not is all about us and each one follows a pattern of being at seeking to trample on others with the subject never being who one is but always being who one is not, a kind of a pettiness where that sense of duty towards even oneself is lost in a whirl of pretence.
This pretence mode provides one with a sense of pride and whilst doing so;it takes one to an erroneous level of undue pride and false of security where the person lives in a zone of always playing a role. There is no pause button and or a reflection on the self. It is all about throwing in that air of existence which deny in the process any other its sense of being. The model that one operates is one of the mundane from a world which always creates division.Or about me and the the other where the latter is whisked aside at very moment. One lives in as per a model of seeking to outdo and no more.
That there is more to life than just doing one’s material chores may never be even contemplated as the arrogant continues to thrive carrying that veil which calls on all others to adopt that senseless way where the material remains at the core of life. There is no meeting point. One never sees cruelty, or that hatred is at the core but verily that it is all about survival. Life begins at the other side of despair observed Camus or one is entangled in that hatred, and fragmented norm where any other is seen as a lesser being. A question of survival in the jungle of despair and when challenges forces one to be at a crossroad there is simply a surrender in that one may never witness that form or way of being which is beyond the veil of the material. With the mundane taking over, there is a blind acceptance that historical baggages are how life may be. Or very much thriving and or living in a model which is fixed in a fragmented mode whether this emanates from the secular or religious or a mixture of these two where there is hatred, anger, envy and violence at the core verbal or otherwise.
How may one make sense and or rather be sensible rather carrying on playing a certain role? How to be free from what one is not? Or is one condemned to be via the way of the superficial? The epsilon way of being and other even progressive delta or beta is no relief to borrow Orwellian terms…..as one perpetuates that same air of opposites of inferiority and superiority about and around the self, an almost justification to carry on being what one is not. Entangled in that trauma pool of materialism no escape may be seen from the worldly way but a mere adjustment here and there but only keep at that level where one resides at a fixation mode where that salience of one’s being takes over in essence instead of moving onwards and seeking to be free and delve in life as per the dialectics. Sure, it is a question of perceiving things as they are. And in so doing how about just be the observer rather than adds undue hatred or cause despair to any other ! Must one always adopt and apply a model of the known which denigrates at least some other? Need one carry on with one’s superficial style denying others existence?
Is transcendence simply a religious way of justifying one’s shortfall in that on the hand one may carry on engaging in pride, arrogance, conceit? Or may one moves onwards from that frailty norm towards attempting to be more than the superficial? …….where simplicity, non violence, freedom from anger, tranquility, gentleness and forgiveness not to say compassion for all living entities let alone other humans becomes a life mission.Can transcending all barriers and linking one to the other nay every other in truth not just as an intellectual exercise whereby one sees verily?Now, is it or could this possible? To be sure, not a plain question of a yes and no but that which surely would make one moves away from that which is merely mundane. Are we ready?
