The whimsical mind……

Material life puts one on the level of realm of anger, lust and hate and when these are present one fails to apprehend the what is. Rather there is a running after things for its own sake, based on illimited desires which binds one further into the material.

As one moves along, besides being caught up in the modes which dictates all actions, the subject does not know what to do or what not to do. One is carried away by the desires through the whims of the mind which calls on for more and more of the same in spite of ensnaring one further and further; deeper into that dense forest of delusion where there is a confusion. In this state one is for ever in friction with negativism abound. A kind of craving creeps in as The Buddha remarks and all one does is follow that set pattern of relentless search towards divisions and more and more in spite of the problems. One carries on in that mode to be so subservient to the diktats of the mind which corners one into subjugation.

Nothing positive vibe wise may be achieved when the categories as mentioned in the opening sentence of this blog are  the guideline for one’s way of being and to be sure, a foundation built on such superficialities results not in reaching out towards others but at times seeking ways of how to further fragmentations rather than aim towards a synergy. Hope comes into the equation when and where there is a turning away from the whimsical towards the thoughtful which questions the easily attributed ways of the mundane onto which one is. There are several forms of the modes; whilst that of passion and ignorance and a combination of these may not yield much progress at reaching out as all are egocentric on this format. Likewise, either a separate mode of goodness or that associated with passion in mixed mode also are seen to do some  ‘good’ work restricted to an in-built bias as its base is fragmentation and about growing the seeds of hatred everywhere.

Or there is no altruism in minds which are covered by a veil through dogmas at creating a way of being based on trampling on others about them and sure such individuals revel at leading such lives where some are relegated in their scheme as they simply do not belong to their lifestyle or perhaps due to their looks or the way they may speak. There may be little sympathy from them towards such others as their lives are thriving on divisions whilst living verily a superficial existence either through leading or being led by others to perceive life in a way that causes friction. In this sense there may not be, or never will be room to see the frailty of that way of being where anger, hate and friction are the basis. All a question of me and them and or the others.

At an interpersonal level the brutality may equally be seen within a relationship where what matters is no more than wanting to dominate and be seen to have the upper hand. Or, the other may never be seen to have any positivity since one is marred by that veil or mind which has developed into that which may only see the bad and the ugly whilst the good is no longer in their dictionary…. Hence a perpetually putting down of the other and a kind of always carrying aspects of hatred towards some others.Where there is hatred, anger is in operation and where this is so, all clarity is gone and the subject is as irritated giving rise to a constant abuse emerging that is emanating from its being.

There is no rationality as all is blurred and one lives in a realm of control as if to the individual only is given the way to be. All and everyone are thus ignored and the person ventures in its operational path of seeking or maintaining control.

The dangers of going hither and tither is all too obvious. The reins of control have been duped over by the diktat o f the mind and the subject a mere puppet in the procession of movement, marred by a sense of negativism which one subscribes to. Life is set as per a set form dominated by its flickery ways where what matters is a kind of subservience to the whim of the exterior which has taken over.

There is no longer a sense of a goal: that all encompassing one where what is revealed is that overall beauty of being. Instead in the arena is a way confounded by hatred and the subject happily subscribes through it. It is a pure reactionary approach to life as it is. All things are so connived that there can never be appreciation of the other. The other is related to to the point of non entity as it is towards the whimsical which one has made into a way of being.

All else matters little or what matters is that petty self based on a diktat which only sees sense in one’s way and all from a friction and confusion where clarity is a lack. The process of the what is is turned upside down as one arrogantly chooses one’s path having as basis, a lack of credibility due to all being marred at the outset.

Is there a way forward or must one be a victim of negativity where what matters is the veil through which one constantly perceives? Is there an alternative way to be where the other is no longer a threat to my being? Or is that one must always place all hope on an impermanent exterior as assimilated by an equally turbulent mind. Is there a way out of this dilemma of making and first of all controlling that mind which wavers about as it encounters the exterior? What is the way to be? May one try and first of all try bringing one’s mind in control so that it becomes fit for purpose in a world which itself is in flux all the time?

To be sure, it seems there is a sense of attempting to turn the whimsical into a quaint one but all that requires that one firmly sees the frailty of the flickery form in the first instance or a willingness to just be. Is this at all possible? Well over to you dear reader!

Brutality unlimited………..

No one may justify violence of any form: One always have a choice how to live as from the moment of awareness as far as one may remember, there is nothing positive about negativism or anger, hatred and or the topic as hinted above. Or is there?

There is subtle form of violence that society has almost accepted with the emerging slaughter houses in almost all part of the world where it is case, says modern civilisation that one needs to institutionalise to kill others or animals for the sake of the population. This trend is being questioned in a world where one may rely on other form of food intake, not necessarily through so called legal ways at condoning killing. Humans have granted themselves a licence to do as they please as regards torturing and or taking lives as if as leaders among living entities are duty bound to do as they feel fit. Or it is a way of life, a tradition to thrive on the flesh of others and these things are taken for granted.

The unwritten law of humanity however proclaims that whatever one does will have a consequence at some point in one’s lives whether it is through abating of or being accomplices towards causing and leading a violent life. The short answer is what goes around comes around whether not necessarily immediately but in due course. Unless one is of a hardened type, any act of killing means to take life, a life which otherwise would have lived a little longer. There is no logic at trying to kill some entities for the sake of the other except that one is violent. The irony is that there is a claim that one cares for animals. Rather, this should be lover of some animals or more precisely ‘my’ animals for essentially it is all about me and me and nothing matters as long as I am alright; a kind of a me-ism in play where what matters is simply the ego self. As long as one may justify an action, it matters little what one does whether it is of help or not as long as the petty ego gets its way in this vast arena or the world about us.

The point though is that one always has choices in the midst of it as to how one wants to be or there are no excuses to be non authentic. The non authentic path is a cop out of those in bad faith seeking to justify those actions which knowingly one may feel is wrong but still partake in these as a matter of weakness of the heart or letting one’s mind going hay wild where it become a victim of the senses and so get dictated by it at all times. Such a mind of course is all over the place and therefore never a friend of the self as it leads or rather misleads one.

There is a lack in turning towards the self that one is. There is almost a fear to bring it under control and listen to one’s inner voice which always questions those acts of error, putting down, anger, eventually violence and sometimes  terrorising the other as being a norm which somehow may be the way forward for which one may choose a certain path. It is sure not ahimsa to a destroy, mutilate, hate and kill others for oneself which happens all the time in our society. It is relentless hatred as to be sure there may never be such things as humane taking of lives. To kill is to destroy and not to create, it is an act which fails to bring harmony.

To thrive on the blood of others is never an act of mercy. It is pure arrogance and ignorance in that we think that we know what is best for every being whilst seeking to control lower species where barbarism enters in the equation as one exploits lesser others as the remark of Mahatma Gandhi puts it ” A civilisation is measured by how it treats its weakest members.” There is always a case to stop, pause and reflect rather than engage and participate in senseless actions which creates divisions and nurture atrocities. Certainly, some say that it is almost a crime against the nature and its inhabitants. What one is not allowed to do to discriminate as per one’s dogma.

It seems as a person one needs to ask the self about what one really wants: whether to sit on a bedrock which has tainted injustices or should one aim to see an alternative way of being where there  is trust, hope and comprehension which transmit respect not only to a few, but to one and all regardless of being or specie. Sure, it is a transcendental way of being rather than a mundane, material way of looking at life where the other emerges truly as a comrade but not as one to exploited. It is a movement away from senseless acts of gratification of the senses for the needs of the tongues which has been widely exploited and have become the norm.

It is refreshing to note as a challenge that there is an awareness towards alternative ways of being which seeks to put things in perspective to bring about sense in a senseless world and to bring creativity where there is destruction and to bring peace where there is disharmony. To be is to be there. A question of appreciating and witnessing that grandeur of life as it unfolds but the civilised programme which accommodates the laws of the jungle fails to apprehend what is for the sake of looking down on some others belonging to other species if not how may one explain that there are “ slaughter houses “ as well as well as RSPCA.

All is based on choices: how to be! On the one hand, there is reaching out yet on the other there is hatred. One may love cats, dogs and chicken but all ambiguous. In one case it is about caring for the for the former whilst in the latter it is about act of feeding on the flesh of others: Sure, no love is shown in the latter case. Or Is it because it has become an acceptable norm?

The cyclical superficiality of existence!

The basis of well being and comfort is that a bodily existence becomes the crude measure of being. There is a search almost an obsessiveness with the bodily comfort from the moment of awakening in the world. The baby is maintained with all its needs fulfilled. Based on this, one’s whole future is planned and ensuring that one is prepared to be part of a vicious circle which connives at a base level and which takes all of one’s attention.

The toddler is then set up for its schooling process from pre-nursery passing through primary, secondary stages towards tertiary forms and afterwards at accomplishment through accolades and other recognitions; the newly awakened is deemed ready to commence its search in the world. Associated with the physical comfort are also aspects of the usual dosage of cultural, emotional and other hosts of strategies which sets the newcomer up to play its part.

The basic instinct of the temporal remains the base of being in the form of ‘eat, drink and be merry’ aspect which are the fun ways to be. Around it one seeks bodily comfort: all about feeling good and or better and better as the temporal is based on deriving the most pleasure that one may beget from the senses and so aspects of these are then explored through others and so are meeting along with  others who also follow a similar strategy at deriving a pleasurable life.

Happiness becomes the measure of being or its search and the foundation of life is thus based on pleasure to the avoidance of pain or aspects of reducing pain whilst promoting and enhancing the ‘fun’ type approach in the world about us.

A look at the other. Desires are awakened, leading onwards on to touch followed by further engagement and of coming together with the process intensifying and resulting in others being also thrown into the world arena. And so, a new cycle begins all over again… all based on desires and its fulfilment. Nothing more. Nothing less and hence the cyclical affair!

If all we do is the mere participating in eating, drinking and mating by fulfilment of desires one wonders whether there is if at all a movement towards another realm…… i.e. is there more to life or are we merely condemned just to be via a debased way of being which some see as being indeed the basis of everything that one needs to aim for?

The road to a superficial existence is clear. It is that of chasing after comfort, the pleasures from the other or momentary comfort which prize one away from a non -material existence through a touch, developing into commitment and or almost some kind of ownership where the ideas of me-ism take precedence over the reflective self. The latter is relegated in the background whilst all that matters is that the petty self is in action and its all about its survival and enhancement. The mundane simply further entangles the self into subjugation of a certain way to be; its opposite causes one to reflect and seek and or explore alternative ways to be.

However, the vicious circle into which one is in is not an easy conundrum to get out of. The temptation of the senses and its pleasant ways are far too appealing for the bodily self not to seek comfort from. One easily may fall prey to by some sweet words, a touch, or a cuddle which in the beginning appear like nectar but in the end is a recipe for disaster in that it is a start towards conformity and of modifying oneself from a level of non- mundane towards the superficial where gratification of the senses becomes the way ahead rather than seeking to comprehend the nature of being and of life. The trap means one is fallen to be what one is not that is an object for the other, where the other may feel that he/she has ‘carte blanche’ to do as one pleases over the one or several others.

The truth to be sure is that the warmth, the feeling of closeness is all part of a bodily comfort towards which one is enslaved almost in submission. It is a good feeling to have that approval of the other. It is a daily struggle. Only in relaxation and meditation may one come to the fore in seeing that that the ways of the senses are a road towards destruction of the self. There is more to life than plain bodily comfort and or enjoyments and the sooner that one realises this one’s life takes another stride in exploration.

Or we may observe by saying that the ‘preyic’ form to borrow a Sanskrit term as proposed by the mundane way which although comforting and pleasant leads to one’s downfall eventually. The path that may lead to either more attachment or adopting of a crude way of being thereby further entangling of others as being the ‘way’ ahead. The joy and sense of good feeling which this means provide is almost immeasurable. Its ways are adopted in every field of life, forming the basis of everything that was, is and will be.

No other format is searched for. The bodily part takes over the way ahead and its gratification becomes the primary concern. One is only motivated through this form of being where all is a question of similar self (read basic fulfilment). With this approach lacks a sense of being-ness which is pre-conclusive by making the mundane the be and end all of everything.

To be sure, it is up to the individual and society to shrug free of this bizarre form of being, Will it better adopt that ‘Sreyic’ aspect, (another Sanskrit term …. opposite of ‘preyic’) which although not pleasant is verily finally the way towards securing a way to be which is for one’s own benefit. Or what Jesus has observed for instance ‘treasure not your riches on the earth where moth gathers but seek that which is heaven’ where all is free from the mundane way.

Does it make sense to question the ways of the world or should one just be also immersed in its ways and seek that sense of happiness along with its contradictions, conflicts, anger and hatred or; is there a more noble way to be?

Exploring the inner self………

To be closed means that one is limited in what one does or think and or that one’s activities based on choices are simply not there. To be able to see above and beyond what one does is that rare gift of opting to reach out not only physically or socially but to try to do so in every way possible.

The exclusivist sets a boundary around oneself based on a certain mode of being as predefined: Life thus are perceived from within that norm and all else are rebuffed or ‘tolerated’ at best where divisions of one form or other becomes the measure of being. It is henceforth a always about being and keeping that competitive mood in life.

It is a far cry from trying to move form one’s comfort zone and keep exploring other venues and trying out those realms of the possible so that one is cornered into a one way or fixation mode which set us to be in a set way.

By being in a set way the subject only has certain set values and may never aim to explore further. To be set in some ways means that ‘I’ know and the rest may not quite understand or that I know best or instead it is they who are limited. Let us explore this further: To simply adopt and live by a set regime does not mean that others are wrong and that one is always correct. Indeed, it is not a question of being right and wrong but to see how one’s world is either closed to some or whether these are limited by some ways which may or may not be quite authentic.

To have a balance in one’s life does not mean to be sure that one does is perfect mantra for anyone but far from it. It is up to each one to discover what works best for oneself. Whilst going through that route, one needs to beware of not entangling oneself in ways which upon projection may cause frictions with one’s long term goal. The easiest example is when one chooses illegal or otherwise intoxicants as a way forward as this will lead to complications and causes setbacks in one’s professional life for a start and possibly have drawbacks with family life apart from other personal problems.

What the subject does is ignore the widest window of spectrum available but instead simply chooses as per one’s whims of diktat of the mind. The thoughtful and reflective person stop pause and consider of all alternatives available. To be sure, it is a question to self teaching! Real life education begins when formal schooling and other college/university cramming in of knowledge comes to an end after being conferred with certificates.

Wising up, means more than just being independent financially and or physically.  It is also about seeing how best to make use of ones’ time. How to learn and explore life as it is not how it had been input via knowledge input. Understanding of life forms take one to a realm of facing life as it is in its grandeur. Is one ready for such a challenge or does one take decision on the spur of the moment?

Does one require to be balanced in the ways of the world? And importantly does one need some self coaching which to be sure is simply about the notion of having that dialogue with the self in intense mode based on reflective thinking?

Am I really prepared for life transaction?  Do I have a comrade whom I may trust and turn to? To be sure, this blogger will clearly state that a friend is not one who gives advice to do, one or a  things in a certain way but in a way that real friend is he or she who makes the other reflect on the pros and cons of actions from every angle and leave one to decide for oneself.

Verily, it a question of growing up oneself rather than be dictated and or prompted into looking at anything form a plain superficial or mundane way. Project the outcomes of one’s actions and each decision that one’s makes. Does it enhance or betray one’s being? That is why it is imperative to turn to a comrade. The exterior one also may have his/her own saliency whilst the inner one may be useful only if she/he goes beyond the realm of the merely superficial…. Hence this bloggers’ point about being one who is never an exclusive type but prepared to reach out beyond boundaries in thoughts as well as all authentic deeds which enhance the self by opening a world of possibilities. If the reader’s inner comrade is so by all means engage in a pure reflective self dialogue with the self in matters of life otherwise, try using a self -development personal coach who should put one on tract in matters of comprehension and or living or being in tune with one self…. But bearing in mind it is verily the self who leads the query whilst the coach is there as the enhancer comrade who simply makes one reflects.

However, as one awakes after years of subjugation and being stifle as a youngster often it is one’s right to move along and explore that suddenly found freedom which emerges as one comes of age. Or indeed that is one perfect prerogative for finally arriving at a milestone  where one may take decision s freely. All well and good but a word of caution is that some rash decisions often are taken when elder others pronounced one as being non responsible: Yet life is a learning process in that vast ocean of contradictions, a maze which the newly awakened adult finds oneself in.

The inner comrade may either be coached- awakened or simply turned towards. This process at least will substantiate that one is verily not grown up simply physically but has come of age also in at least the moral and other mental and or psychological level of being. Not to do so simply means that one’s actions are purely based as per the whims of the mind thereby setting us on the arena of the temporal where all are reactive. In this mode, one becomes a victim of one’s whims and so begins the start of a journey which one would take through hustles and bustles of the ways of the world and thereby learns through the endeavour of that superficial realm.

Is there an alternative?  Can the operator within halt that process of being simply entangled and see ways beyond the temporal where the mind seek that which makes one’s cautious with the temporal and its frailties and frictions and see that other realm based on pro-activity. If so, what does it mean to be so? How does one awaken from a conscience of false ego? Who knows?

Being proactive……..

Pro-active is the idea of always being in control, of one’s actions when one is not overwhelmed by it all. In life it is incumbent on the self to be mindful of those actions when later one may not seek to blame others. The way of proactivity is clear at the outset. All a question of being there.

One takes full responsibility over the choice the subject makes. There may not be an error as everything has been worked out prudently with a plan echoing the view that the reactionary approach which characterises so much of what goes on but based on the modes as it reveals in life making one takes action not necessarily of the non-reactive types.

It is an existential prudence to be able to choose. Even not choosing albeit strictly speaking also becomes  choice, a choice that one may not run away from: indeed, almost a responsibility to do so unless of course one wishes to be entangled in that realm of the reactionary ways along with its modes whilst keeping the subject at the base of entanglement where one is muddled.

Choices are in abundance:  If one is misled or somehow one is made to adopt a certain way of life based on mundane modes; it may be possible to see one’s actions as being a result of the latter whilst using these as a wake-up call from the malady of the reactivity.

To be able to see that one is in danger of moving away from the norm of proactivity means that one is alert at all times. Or that one is not governed via the mercy of others; where inevitably others takes over one’s way of being.

It is of course as important to be able to stand up for oneself and explicitly look at the pros and cons of what is at stake before engaging through those choices which may be diametrically opposed to one another. The prudent definitely reflect on the question of which way to go rather than moving about hither and tither as a matter of trying one path or mode as opposed to the other. One may go forward, backwards or sideways to the left or right but whichever mode the subject adopts, all needs to be a clear and distinct approach based on comprehension rather than being carried over. Without such a reflective choice, one may easily end up in the dungeon or at least derailed as nothing may be taken perchance.

The world verily is an arena of choices. To be sure, one is called often to make those vibrant choice among the multitudes available and pondered over whilst in some instances, the subject some may be forbidden, others non legal and some will cause distress. One may simply remark that proactivity merely puts one in the grips of those authentic ones which keeps us on tract without causing frictions and distress to any other.

Choices are illimited in that one may consume some of these without quite subscribing to its ways in that one is carried over with the clear ‘danger’ being that one moves away from one’s compass or chosen path: That choice par excellence is that which takes us on to that promised land or the goal as set in our wisdom. To be led astray is the easiest thing that one may do as it may be possible to move away from one’s position as one immersed in the world of conditionings with its challenges and dare I add with its desires is sufficient to puts one off tract. It also underestimate the forces of nature…..those modes whether goodness, passion and ignorance as per the web of material life  from which there is little respite. Or its ways are so appealing that may easily gives in and crumble.

From a proactive perspective it is verily up to the self to ensure that that one does not make that single error which may be far too costly as the trend usually in material life not to forgive easily whilst to remember those grudges one has been a victim of. That is why in proactive mode there may not be excuses of weakness of the heart 0or being susceptible to the whims of the senses. The point is to maintain that clear balance and of being mindful.

It is verily not a question of conforming to some ways and or follow and be whimsical as one with a  mind on the loose non controllable and where one easily is taken for rides and never see consequences ahead. All are given via a ‘preya’ to borrow a Sanskrit term where one easily gives in to the pleasant which is the foundation of misfortune as there is simply no concern for its opposite or ‘sreya’ which albeit being not that pleasant is actually of greater use for the subject.

In pursuit of the obvious or the superficial bodily pleasure the otherwise reflective self becomes a victim of the modes and so missed our on the way ahead and verily the goal of life where a plan is put into motion for moving ahead not based on reactionary way of doing things as per the whims of one’s minds based on other superficial and or bodily influences.

To be sure there is a lack. There will always be something missing or not quite correct since one has espoused a form which has neglected the way of that compass which may perhaps keep one on tract onto that goal which in turns ensures that one is always in tune with the aspects of proactivity where the goal is always kept in sight regardless. By doing so, one does not falls prey to the mundane forms which seeks to rips up apart under the guise of throwing about the pleasant. Choose this path and one is doomed but keep more to the ‘Sreyic’ way and the good will eventually surfaces.

The point is to be always firm and not be led or precisely misled by the norms of the mundane and its ways which although appears far too ‘preyic’ that is pleasant is like or as Albus Dumbledore has put it ‘ we must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy’ and needless to say the appealing one has always been the short cut and easier one: And so beware!

A visionary way to be……..

Goodwill season begins with a reflection on the ideas of reaching out to one and all or not only to some other belonging to a particular specie.Kindness need not be restrictive to  a set of entity or to some selected few within the human or animal kingdom but this need be holistic that is to say pertaining to all others unconditionally.

Where this is possible, one would say that the seeker has transcended from the norm of the material onto the realm of appreciating each and every kind of life where there is no real discrimination of any kind. It is about extending openness of being regardless of status. There is thus no running after one who possesses grandeur due to being a ‘star’ or some other who may have excelled in some area of life. That aspect of reaching out is accorded similar merits whether one is a poor, disabled or disadvantaged or whether one belongs to the other species of life.

The awe-ness factor is accorded to one and all regardless of being. This reflects in a way what Krishna refers to in The Bhagavad Gita about a Brahmana who verily sees all others equally without any form of lack of respect and or favouritism one above the other. In a way, Vaishnava philosophy proclaims a kind of spiritual communism where each and everyone matters regardless of the bodily form which is apparent matters little for what is quintessence is that which the tradition refers to as the soul. The naïve of course may remark that to be sure not everyone is a learned pandit or Brahmana as the world is full of millions of non-Brahmana entities which is to say that it is precisely the reason that the mundane world order continues to be so as stated or having a lack, nay a severe form of ailment at the core. However, it remains for the thinker to make others aware of that way or form of life which has a vision of being where matters of wrongness per se or inequality may not or never be tolerated. Verily it is up to those who reflect through proactivity that that one keeps showing through visions of what may be or can be achieved or life is a question of seeing that utopia which may be realised regardless of where one is. To give is to accept the status quo as being the norm whereas only in keeping reminding others of a qualitative life that may be still there if only….

As things takes a short cut ignoring the ideal form to a rude temporal form, there is little need to create aura around the superficial as what is real is the self that every other is. It is towards that one may divert all attention not to that crude bodily form which emerges which is decorated through is the subject of attention. The sages from this tradition as stated above carefully enunciate that one respect the other not because of an achievement in a particular bodily form but precisely there is an aspect of the transcendent in each and every living entity. Or respect is attributed to one and all but whilst one may never be able to adjudge any other the point remains that it is sometimes natural that one accords attention to someone who excels or have made some special contribution within the material world.

From a materialist perspective, based on the superficial or bodily concept of life , one may be seen to have achieved a lot and indeed are rewarded for being so or perhaps have gone through some excellence in different fields of life and so it is natural that one accords grandeur to some other (s). In doing so there is some recognition for hard work whilst in a non-envious way; such attribution perhaps should be there. The point though it all becomes non proper where exclusion comes into being, thereby life on this view is no longer all inclusive but is about a certain approach based on boastfulness, arrogance and undue divisions which sets some against others. It is verily that kind of trend that one is questioning where there is fragmentations from where destructions take over and where this is so; only contradictions arise and the subject remains entangled in a way of life which is non authentic where what matters becomes a kind of adulation of the false ego self  or of a group where the real is neglected for the superficial where the essence is betrayed for the temporal mode.

For the visionaries, life is more than just of the here and now where all are measured using this format for things to be so pronounced upon. There is a need to approach that holistic form which is not merely a simpleton of applauding the superficial. To be sure, it is a call to be always vigilant and prudent rather than keep falling prey to that way of being which have plaudits for the mundane, or the games into which one is caught up whilst the actual and real suffers in the process.

In a temporal mode, one is conditioned into a particular to be appreciated and or acknowledged by the mass. That this is a serious malady of the conditioned state from which one has to rise from or else it a perpetual vicious cycle of life of being where the real value is seen through a veil, that saliency which keeps us at bay far from what needs to be appreciated beyond that façade which hinders one from seeing the whole of life. Instead a partial view has emerged and the subject is thus conned into submission of witnessing the glories of life through what some other may say.

That is why, it is important to not be gullible at any time and always seek to question what is in front of us. The point is not to accept or deny something based on hearsay or what a group or some other may say. It is about awakening and definitely stopping through this dense world of non-certainty and to stop, pause and reflect not from a particular view or some view or no view but perhaps crucially to simply be there within the world and to work out the essence based on information rather through opiniated verbosity. On this note one may of course question what is written: And that would be a healthy attitude!

A preamble to relaxation/meditation!

To relax in a world of contradictions which is dominated by flaws everywhere one looks is almost a per impossibile as one may never find solace in the thick of it. Whichever way one looks there is a danger to be enslaved and or englobed in the whims of the material. Meditation and or relaxation is surely not that which makes us be more technically efficient in exploiting the ways of the world and its desires unto which one is entangled but it is more of a positive realm which takes the subject away from the merely temporal.

The call in meditation and or relaxation is to primarily, pause and reflect as a norm before one may proceed. It is very much the opposite of a reactionary way where one is always carried away by events about us. Where one is entangled there is little respite to be. Let alone to relax, one finds it a struggle to even survive, portrayed or characterised by ongoing confusions, hatred and violence in the world where the superficial has taken over …. where one spends little if at all some quality time towards revival of the self. In the hustles and bustles of on goings there is verily little time to even contemplate a way of allocate time to the self as all is hectic…. where one aspires to simply survive in bodily forms. This provides one with little chance to turn inwards to the self as all is intentioned to the exterior… in the mode of how to survive and how to make ends meet and how to keep body and self together. With this being so, the subject is submerged in horrid zone and finding no way out of the maze of being entangled almost bounded and to be hounded in the whirlpool of matter which forces one to be in a certain way.

With this being so, ample forms of relaxations are available to one who wishes to break free from the shackles of materials and a plain superficial way. To be sure, some methods simply desires to keep the subject firmly rooted in the confines or trap of illusion and so some forms are presented to try and create and or maintain one within the boundaries of the plainly material. Where this is so, one may find relaxation being limited in that all that happens is a temporary relief.

The method of relaxation and or meditation is not a simpleton aim to maximise one propensity at being better materially but a question of espousing a way where one is no longer enslaved in a fixation or area aimed to achieve a method for success where one wants to be at peace and yet not willing to be proactive. The reactive self may never comprehend the logistics of seeking to recover from the temporal modes. Without a complete recovery and or seeing the futility of the mundane  one may never reap of utmost benefit from the ways of relaxation with the danger being at all times one becomes a victim of the failure to apprehend the dialectics.

It is incumbent on the subject to therefore seek to comprehend the nature of life and adopt those qualities of reaching out to all others as a prerequisite for peace and or comprehend on the aspect of a unity of being based on a non-divided above and beyond the merely material.

It is a non- separatist view of life where anger, hatred and violence of any form towards any other is checked and instead where a more accommodating and a unity of purpose emerges. To be sure, this author is trying to summarise a certain mode of being where one derives ultimate benefit form participation in a relaxation and or meditation session. It is a frailty to suggest that one may meditate deeply and seek to indulge in actions which pry on others. That is a non-comprehension of the aim of meditation. Or what one is attempting to say is that it is impossible to seek the ways of relaxation and then carry on indulging in accusations of anger, hatred and or propound a sectarian approach to be. Jesus had in his ministry clearly pointed that one may not offer prayers to The Supreme if one still has enemies about. The point is to reach out first unto others first before engaging on a mission to have a dialogue with wholly other. In similar vein, one’s proposals to be engaged in relaxation and or meditation demand s a certain state of being, a way to be so that one may derives most benefits. Just like in prayer, the devotee is called upon to develop those qualities which one lacks about a complete reaching out first before even contemplating prayer in its pristine form similarly the call likewise is to search oneself first both in the inner and outer and be ready as a synergy before seeking to use methods which will be of utmost benefits only for those who is n on entangled in the ways of the world.

The preamble for relaxation or meditation is important if one is to make a success of it: Or contradictions will emerge and one may not find the solace one would have hoped for thereby abandoning the process altogether. One has to be prudent and alert at all times less one sees the self as being over and beyond others even if the latter are of a different specie let alone humanoid.

Or a preparation for relaxation is equally as important rather than a mere indulgence in it. The call herewith is to seriously stop, pause and reflect on one’s way of being. So it is not a simpleton of just listening to some classical musical and or going for a walk and or doing some yoga or similar. A little more is required in one’s quest to make sense of it all and by doing so the subject may then recover form the malady of the mundane.

In this vein, one is saying that the ways of relaxation and meditation may not be quite an asset to one who seeks to dominate and or cause disharmony or divisions in the world. Indeed, it is a far cry on towards a norm which seeks to unite and be creative.

Moreover, it is always up to the reader to discover and reflect on what has been written rather than mere acceptance or denial. Let us ask: Does it all make sense to raise these issues and or bring to the fore what after all seems to be a way of being !

A sense of togetherness ?

In the world as we know of it one usually observes with a veil of ignorance. That veil has a saliency of historical baggage conditioned by material exposure. In that exposure, one may not perceive….  ‘what is’ but a fragmented version of it at best or rather one sees what a contaminated mind project.  What is witnessed in that exteriority is a reflection what one ought to see as in that pure or transcendental realm.

In a way both the subject and the object are similar as they are products of the non -transcendent, a kind of an erosion into the appearances and the seen as witnessed by the crude eyes. The subject as one may not appeal to the faculty of discrimination and thereby takes the obvious as being  the factual whilst the object observed is a mere projection of the mind based on what has been passed on and or as seen through what others may want one to see, all the same a kind of being made to view things from a and or some perspective.

The neophyte is very much affected by what some others may wish to throw about based on separatism and with this comes disunity and where this is so; there is a rise in anger, desires based of bigotry of seeking more and more culminating in anger, hatred and often giving rise to violence.

Whilst in that mode of operation there is always a question of me-ism and the other and the latter is seen and or portrayed as the enemy within whether in society that one resides and or elsewhere. Always a question of identifying and or making/creating a common ‘enemy’ and placing fear unto others and by doing so those who thrives on always seeking to create disunity aim to either attempt to subjugate others into subjugation via a preordained goal at keeping a certain mode of exiting in operation that is where there is always some anomaly. To espouse such a mode of existence means one conforms to a particular norm that of either aim at subjugating others through often simple slogans which the subjects may not perceive easily as the autocrat revels at maintaining a status quo as in their vision whatever hinders with the norm may be deem as non-acceptable.

Others which promote a vision of non-difference and or unity may be dismissed and or condemned as the enemy which may not conform to their way of being. Their way of being is set as in stones and they are like the half educated of Romain Rolland who revel at condemnation of others whilst thinking that the cultural world in its grandeur are the property of the few. In truth all aspects of life are so framed that such a mind also revels at creating divisions as if only a certain class or an exclusive few may have access to some thing, indeed anything whilst to them may also belong and as they have a hereditary right to each and every thing. To be sure such a mind is contaminated because they feel that life needs be governed by clear slogan of the format to each according to one’s ability where the few takes over and manipulates each and everything that are about in the world.

The question of leaving others to rot may not even occur in their comprehension as the assets are there to be exploited and it is always a question of tough luck if one or the other may not quite make it. All about one’s effort or a way that one works through a system and the doors opened widely. This vision fails to apprehend a form where others may have physical or mental disability. Likewise, there is little compassion shown to the weak or the disadvantaged. Each according to the ability also may mean that where one may not contribute in some ways there is no right for them to be here. Accept a certain way of being and one is seen as being all right. Try questioning it and one is seen as ‘the enemy’

Compassion dictates that one sees every other as each according to needs rather than being a mere economic agent. And in reaching towards one and all the idea of disunity is replaced by a vision of unity, a sense of oneness where any other is not subjected to any form of abuse in spite of their own in situation. To be in that mode means that one is no longer in a negative state but rather in a more creative proactive form at seeing the other in a togetherness where there is a reflective comprehension at bringing about a state of peace towards all where no one is seen as superior or inferior where one simply is. This is extended to all species where the other is no longer also brutally or others killed because of a certain specie who feels that to them is given the right of existence based of a trend of survival of the fittest and thereby bringing in divisions.

It is all a question of seeing that unity of purpose…. that sense of being where there is no subject of object where peace is not just a concept but an actual realm which one may promote. That such a state may be achievable only when one rises from contradictions of carrying historical baggage of that all is set and done or that there is no way forward. That way forward towards a unity emerges when one reaches out to all others as already hinted above without discrimination and only then there may be real peace and harmony.

To be sure it is a question of perhaps also looking in earnest as to how one lives within the world. Just like the question of environmental challenge here too there is an urgent need to pause, stop and reflect. Is there another way forward? May one benefit from another way… a way that calls one to be not in the mode of me-ism but indeed in that mode of togetherness rather than being pitch against every other. To be sure, a kind of reaching out where every other is a living warmth nay a comrade.

A synergy of being!

The seed of hatred associated with envy is a cancer which slowly may lead to one’s downfall. One has to rise above and beyond pettiness to clearly see/witness the problems of the known. Without this vision one falls in the realm of a ghetto where what matters as previously noted in other blogs…. an aspect of life which denies the ‘what is’ or that fact of life where things are never what they seemed but the vile and crude always prosper in the effort to perceive things with a certain saliency of being.

The known brings with it challenges which makes us view the world from a prejudice which nurture and or nourish the seeds of negativism; chief of which is hatred and putting oneself on a pedestal to the exclusion of some others whilst identifying with some group as if the latter is everything and the rest as having no right to be.

It is said that life is not a question of tolerance where again one sees the self to which one belongs as being better than the rest whilst the others somewhere being of inferior quality needs to be ‘tolerated’. The bourgeois spirit functions in the realm of promoting such an attitude where others are tolerated in that at the final analysis to be sure one is better and have something more and it is all a question of trying paying lip service to the lesser others as the subject from a liberal standpoint lacks quality and essence.

In its being each and every entity possesses something as equally valuable as the emphasis on this trend of enquiry is to see that every other has an element a quintessence that every other has, giving rise to a view of respect for its own sake rather than being a category that one does due to some other condition. It is never a question of either the other which requires a ‘pity’ and where one is seen usually above the other or where the subject has common denominators as opposed to the different others. The spirit of separatism and or creating divisions is ample in that a lack is seen where it perhaps may be met by some other positive discrimination albeit where the other is seen as an object to be ‘helped’ and ‘encouraged’ and sure different. Respect is never conditional unless it is of the petty form where the other seen as vibrant only due to some exploit. What is being argued herewith is that the other remains a firm being regardless of one’s in-situation. There is no need to be that or the other according to a preset standard where judgement takes place where one is either seen as a superb based on set conditions.

To be there is the natural way to be in the mode of being. Essentially this means that needs to see others as a synergy of togetherness where each begets one’s being not where one due to something anything which attracts attention. Or this a social communism where all others are given their dues just to be as part of facticity in a world where divisions reigns or is the order of the day. It is a separatism which sees multitudes forms which harness about and each are at each other’s throats whereas the issue of beingness is to see that there is a kind of differentiation within a holistic form. The problem with pettiness and the mundane is that it revels and thrives on the distractions of differences and the system always re-perpetuate itself by entangling in the latter which makes all others in competition. Such a spirit naively forces one to despair and hope and the other positive or reaching out qualities of perceiving each and everyone is almost non existent as what matters is choosing a path of contradictions which keeps each and every other entity as a separate to be ready at pouncing on the other.

What is lacking is not giving the other, any other that sense of common beingness; a form that although seen positively also suffers from a lack of real acknowledgement where the ‘not-me’ who are dissimilar either culturally and or socially or perhaps lacking a finesse which the virtue of promoting the lack may somehow makes amends. Separatism create an atmosphere of harm leading to anger and violence and it becomes a tyranny of initial struggles then of fights against each other where maintenance of the divisor spirit is set.

Games are organised to reflect this tendency and with the mind getting accustomed to a certain way of being of seeing life being fragmented; the subject believes that such form may also be readily applicable to life as well and when one does so a vicious circle emerges where such pettiness simply moves along as part of being ‘normal’ …. all of which are seen as ‘normal’ which is the idea of setting one against the other and or seeking or rejoicing at differences. The crude mind always sees such forms as part of living whilst a more accommodating synergy of being may be dismissed as lacking to witness a certain way of being which has become the norm after all.

The divisions are there not quite in the negative forms but still apparent as it suffers from appreciating that essence as all is seen from the known or what is revealed about us from the superficial where the physical and or other psychological traits are the measure of one’s being. With divisions sure will come other negative qualities and when these prosper the whole atmosphere becomes polluted and one falls down in the arena of the divisive rather than unifying culture…. where there is a consciousness of togetherness, or a way which does not create victims or a mode of separatism but indeed of witnessing an inherent beingness in each and every entity let alone just homo sapiens possess. It is that rare quality of uniqueness that one sees in the other, again any other …. Not simply confined to a particular specie but of witnessing a real grandeur of being where what matters are all in that synergy of being but surely not with attempts to create disintegration or calling others to a certain way of being but rather reflective of discovering the joy of being.

The mystery of neither nor…….

Life is never a simpleton of either/or form as would the popular belief wills it. They would say that one has to take side and may even appeal to the fact that one has to choose to be as no choice is spurious whilst one has to be active. Let us observe further: Crude materialists always desires and live within the realm of the multiform desires which in a way is seen as a way forward whilst to be there is seen as not an option. It follows therefore that one may be either ‘forced’ to take sides or is seen as a pariah but from a transcendental perspective, it is a most healthy position to adopt or else falls within the realm of the temporal where things changes at all times and where there is always a fluidity.

Kabir has already proclaimed in his that one may not be illimited by the norm of what they would set in that a boundary is set and one is per forced to take sides. The Indian poet observed… ‘Neither am I righteous nor unrighteous; Neither am I an ascetic nor a sensualist’ to clearly makes the point in life there is no need to be one or the other as expounded further…. ‘… and more to the point… ‘Neither am I distinctly isolated from anything …Nor am I completely with anything’

The prudent is one who may not easily succumb to desires of taking sides of one or the other. Life is not simply an option of here or there. Communist or capitalist. Hatred and love. Or war and peace. It may be neither that nor the other. ‘Neti Neti ‘has cried the Upanishad Seers. Comprehension and wisdom are not so much as making others be like oneself but more about laying bare what is there in the manner of witnessing the whole scenery. In a game of cricket, one may easily support one or the other team. Moreover, only one who  is non committed may appreciate what is unfolded really. The game of soccer perhaps more appropriately makes the point. Most of the time the fan may only view from one perspective and verily is cornered in seeing things through the eyes of being a fanatic to the team one supports and so whatever the other team may do somehow may never be appreciated.

Likewise, life throws to us some challenges in that the call is to really rise above and beyond the confines of the limitations of taking sides. It is far too easy to espouse a view, any particular view and makes this one’s saliency of being in that it becomes a veil which one carries about. With time it becomes a baggage which keeps one from witnessing what is as it unfolds since one is blinded with the format of either/or. It is safer to ‘box’ others and as one does so that it is possible to target the other easily.

Where it is not possible to do so; one is not certain how to proceed or what to do. The crude always wishes to label so that attacks may emerge forthwith. Where a mystery is placed, the other may not be able to infiltrate the line of control which is beyond the normal strategy which the crude is always used to. Not certain of how to handle this, the other gives up with arguments that one should be in the realm of Either/Or; since life is seen as an act of either this or the other. Not to do is indeed an act of denying one and the other more positively. Again, a poet may say verily it is not quite a question of being positive or negative but clearly seeing the frailties and or limitations of both the proponent and its opposites …. Something if one takes a view would be condemned to argue for and or against.

On this view to be sure life is more than a set form of beliefs that one adopts and abide by rightly or wrongly based on perceptions as to how one should be and the adherents would apply and try living as per the ‘ism’ which they have espoused or framed so that a certain world view may prevail. Needless to say, that whilst doing so there may emerge lots of contradictions and or limitations that the seeker of or other way to be fail to appreciate from the other party as one is contented with a particular view or approach. Life is set or re-ordained to be as their intentions are and they would spend a lifetime trying to broadly live within that realm and or ignore others not of their kind. Such are the ways of those who are in a way not really with a vision to see but more of a reactionary type who would try seeing at all times to perceive things based on a particular view point … indeed their own viewpoint.

Try and argue against them and you are seen as the enemy full stop. And from which would also emerge, dislike if not quite hatred or verbal if not quite physical violence but sufficient to cause some others to both justify both their anger and or acts of criminality as condemned by society overall.

The ‘misfit’ of neither for or against may be ridiculed by one or the other if not both parties yet it is a sane way to be in that at least one is subject to prejudices or one or the other ways whilst it is another option to be, a way which goes and above divisions as framed by one or the other section or fraction. It is a factionless to be, indeed a gentler way which seeks to unite rather than divide. It is about a visionary way to be and not being caught up in the realms of the either/or dilemma.

Verily a sage to be which attempts to override the constraints of one or the other format. In many ways , it may be that which the visionary may see as a healing and or seeking to create a balance and that of bringing together others away from a hostile climate which merely separate others and seek to reaching out to all so as a more healthy unifying way may unfold where each and everyone sees the other as a comrade. Sure the question remains is this at all possible?
